Check the ground for Hex-Lined Snap Trap and shoot visible traps before getting closer. Avoid fighting with a wall behind you, where Gutshot can stun you. Move away from allies if Consecrating Grenade sets you on fire. Slow the enemy with Splatter. Save The Cube for yourself or your partner before heavy damage hits.
If a stake puts a teammate in real danger, Cube them right away. Once Gutshot and the stakes are spent, follow up on Venator with Punch or Goo Ball, and keep your teammate's escape route clear of Snap Trap.
Protect a wounded teammate with The Cube during Ira Domini. Wait for Venator to fire the stakes or for the timer to expire before approaching. Clear nearby traps and use Puddle Punch or Goo Ball along a route away from walls behind you.
