Use Kingside Knight before Yamato reaches the target and choose a landing your team can defend. Restrict her approach when possible, but do not spend every piece on the invulnerable start of Shadow Transformation.
Late game · Patron
Give ground during Shadow Transformation and avoid relying on disables while its status immunity lasts. Keep pieces ready for a reachable position after it ends, and recover before another close exchange lets Yamato extend the fight with a kill.
