Use cover against Power Slash’s charge and keep a route back to your teammate when Yamato uses Flying Slash. Crimson Slash heals her when it hits a hero, so avoid letting her hit both of you at close range. Apply Serrated Knives from beside cover, and keep Slice and Dice for a route that lets you return to your partner. Reach cover before Bloodletting’s delayed damage leaves you low.
Hold damage during Shadow Transformation’s initial invincibility. Yamato returns with refreshed abilities, high resistance and immunity to negative effects. Move away if your team cannot fight through them.
Protect wounded teammates during Shadow Transformation; kills heal Yamato and extend it. Attack together after it ends. Fully upgraded Flying Slash gives her another charge and lets her escape to allies. After Shadow Transformation ends, throw Serrated Knives from range. Use Killing Blow on Yamato when they are below its execution threshold and your team can support you.
