When Lash starts Death Slam, break his line of sight or move out of range before his whips finish attaching. Spread out so he cannot lift several teammates. Any interrupt must land before he throws you.
Late game · Patron
Break Lash’s line of sight or leave his range while Death Slam’s whips are attaching. Keep clear of the landing area and help any displaced allies before pursuing him. Use Pillow Toss on Lash when you can reach them safely. Heal the caught teammate with Tag Along once the ultimate’s control ends and they have a safe route out; an ultimate stun can knock you off an attached ally.
